Poem: Cozy Rain

ID-10095732

Rain is tapping
its cozy rhythm
on the window.
I feel peaceful,
safe and
secure.
Cellular
memory
from
another time,
from another
life, is
tenderly
wrapping me
in a soft
blanket.

Rainer Maria Rilke: Early Spring

Pierre Bonnard: Early Spring (Little Fauns) /wikipaintings.org

Harshness vanished. A sudden softness
has replaced the meadows’ wintry grey.
Little rivulets of water changed
their singing accents. Tendernesses,

hesitantly, reach toward the earth
from space, and country lanes are showing
these unexpected subtle risings
that find expression in the empty trees.

Orchid

Deep in the valley, a beauty hides:
Serene, peerless, incomparably sweet.
In the still shade of the bamboo thicket
It seems to sigh softly for a lover.

– Taigu Ryokan

I seem to be bumping into orchids so often (or they into me), so I´m sharing the pleasure with you all.

General symbolic meanings of orchid: Love, beauty, sensuality, mature charm, fertility, virility, feminine-masuline balance, luxury and reaching the full potential.

orchids

when two people
understand each other
in their innermost hearts
their words are sweet
like the fragrance
of orchids

Orchids in Bloom

In all things thought seen…
The world has once again conspired
Culminating in a soft petals bloom
Capturing, the eye of man
Illuminating hope in the darkest room

It is this spark, this aura, this radiance
This ignition of inner quality
Amid viscus conflagrations, striking in its purity
Breaching through your outer identity
Nascent, your inner beauty shines, intensely

Lighting the path of life and love

Like a Caterpillar in Its Cocoon

Der Blaue ZirkusMarc Chagall: Le Cirque bleu

Like a Caterpillar in Its Cocoon

I have tied myself to my bed,
wrapped the sheets having the scent of you
around myself so tightly
that I wonder,
if l´ll wake up in the morning
being transformed
into a butterfly
