Monthly Symbol, September 2015: The Magician, and The Dove

RWS_Tarot_01_Magician

The Magician is about clear communications, both common and psychic, and manifesting the path of the heart with the higher use of will. It refers to both practical magic and new opportunities that may rise like out of the blue. It is about Divine timing, synchronicity and expanding the idea of what is possible as we are transcending the limitations of the old world by the higher consciousness and the new energies.

Playfulness and humor are natural inner essences of The Magician.

“There are many probable futures for humanity. In one, people have become responsible about the environment, exist together in peace, and honor the earth and each other. If you imagine the world growing more beautiful, people choosing to be more loving to each other, and a clean environment, you will start moving into the probable universe where that happens.” – Spiritual Growth, Sanaya Roman /orindaben.com

Monthly Symbol, July 2015: Cornucopia

woman-404348_640

“The cornucopia, a curved horn with fruits and flowers spilling from its open mouth, is a common symbol of abundance and the earth’s bounty. The symbol’s origin lies in Greek mythology. Legend says that Zeus, the king of the gods, was raised by a foster mother named Amalthaea, who was either a goat or a goddess who tended a goat. Either way, she fed the infant god goat’s milk. One day one of the goat’s horns broke off. Amalthaea filled the horn with fruits and flowers and gave it to Zeus, who graciously placed it in the sky, where it became a constellation.”

Monthly Symbol, February 2015: Gordian Knot Solved

Gordian Knot

“In Greek and Roman mythology, the Gordian knot was an extremely complicated knot tied by Gordius, the king of Phrygia in Asia Minor*. Located in the city of Gordium, the knot came to symbolize a difficult problem that was almost impossible to solve.

According to legend, Gordius was a peasant who married the fertility goddess Cybele. When Gordius became king of Phrygia, he dedicated his chariot to Zeus* and fastened it to a pole with the Gordian knot. Although the knot was supposedly impossible to unravel, an oracle predicted that it would be untied by the future king of Asia.

Many individuals came to Gordium to try to undo the knot, but they all failed. Then, according to tradition, the Greek conqueror Alexander the Great visited the city in 333 B . C . After searching unsuccessfully for the hidden ends of the Gordian knot, Alexander became impatient. In an unexpected move, he took out his sword and cut through the knot. Alexander then went on to conquer Asia, thus fulfilling the oracle’s prophecy. Alexander’s solution to the problem led to the saying, “cutting the Gordian knot,” which means solving a complicated problem through bold action.” From: Gordian Knot / mythencyclopedia.com  http://www.mythencyclopedia.com/Fi-Go/Gordian-Knot.html

A few of my personal, subjective adaptations of Gordian knot solved:

♦ instant, positive manifestation (spiritual, mental, emotional and/or physical healing, growth or solution, a shift in a relationship issue, a sudden shift in consciousness, or a material manifestation, and so on).  An issue solved immediately by using  “the sword” of higher truth. Affirmation: “Any situation can change for the better at any now moment.”
♦ energy work (working with/transmitting higher energies) especially Ray 1 (Will to Initiate by Sanaya Roman)
♦ soul, spirit in action (vs ego)
♦ missing piece falling into its place (saw an image of that recently during my energy meditation)

Monthly Symbol: Flower of Life and Merkaba for January 2015

The Flower of Life is a powerful symbol of creating new. It symbolizes new life even referring to the DNA-strand.

“The Flower of Life is the name that gives to a geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles. This figure forms a flower-like pattern with the symmetrical structure of a hexagon.

Drunvalo Melchizedek has called these figures symbols of sacred geometry, asserting that they represent ancient spiritual beliefs, and that they depict fundamental aspects of space and time. Melchizedek claims that Metatron’s Cube may be derived from the Flower of Life pattern, and that the Platonic solids within it were “thought to act as a template from which all life springs”. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flower_of_Life

Leonardo_da_Vinci_-_Codex_Atlanticus_folio_309v_detail1

Merkaba: “History has talked about the Mer-Ka-Ba mostly as the vehicle that allows a person to ascend or descend into the higher or lower worlds. But actually the Mer-Ka-Ba is much more than just a vehicle of ascension. It can be, really, anything — since it is the primal pattern that created all things and all universes, both visible and invisible (see The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, volumes I & II).

In Ancient Egypt, this primal pattern was called the Mer-Ka-Ba. It was merkabaactually three words, not one. Mer meant a kind of light that rotated within itself. Ka meant spirit, in this case referring to the human spirit. And Ba meant the human body — though it also could mean the concept of Reality that spirit holds. And so the entire word in ancient Egypt referred to a rotating light that would take the spirit and the body from one world into another.”  You can read more here: http://www.spiritofmaat.com/archive/sep2/merkaba.htm

Shakti Gawain Quotes

“The archetype of the fool can connect us with a very important aspect of ourselves. It is the image of the innocent, childlike person who is not caught in the concepts and stereotypes of the rational, sophisticated mind and therefore is free to perceive and experience life directly as it really is, in the moment.”

“Everything in the physical world is made of energy, all vibrating at different rates of speed. Thought is a relatively fine, light form of energy and is quick and easy to change. Matter is relatively dense and compact energy, slower to move and change. All these energy fields are interconnected, so how we think and feel is constantly affecting and being affected by everything around us. We are all part of one great energy flow.”

“We all know in our hearts what our higher purpose is, but we do not often consciously acknowledge it. In fact, many of us seem to go to great lengths to hide it from ourselves and the world. We fear the power, responsibility, and light that comes with acknowledging and expressing our true purpose in life. Often we are afraid that our higher purpose means giving up everything that brings us comfort and love. In fact, our higher purpose and our greatest joy are always in perfect alignment.”

“The only effective way to use creative visualization is in the spirit of the Tao — going with the flow. That means that you don’t have to struggle to get where you want to go. You simply put out clearly to the universe where you would like to go, and then patiently and harmoniously follow the flow of the river of life until it takes you there or somewhere even better.”

“There is a universal, intelligent, life force that exists within everyone and everything. It resides within each one of use as a deep wisdom, an inner knowing. We can access this wonderful source of knowledge and wisdom through our intuition, an inner sense that tells us what feels right and true for us at any given moment.”

“When we consistently suppress and distrust our intuitive knowingness, looking instead for authority, validation, and approval from others, we give our personal power away.”

“Your intuition will tell you where you need to go; it will connect you with people you should meet; it will guide you toward work that is meaningful for you – work that brings you joy, work that feels right for you.”

“Every time you don’t follow your inner guidance, you feel a loss of energy, loss of power, a sense of spiritual deadness.”

“Our bodies communicate to us clearly and specifically, if we are willing to listen to them.”

“By living as channels for the universe, I believe that we can slow and transform the aging process as we know it. I think it is possible to become more vital, energetic, and beautiful as we get older, rather than less so. So let go of the old rules, and the old limitations and begin to experience day to day the wonder of a limitless life, a limitless world, a limitless universe.”

“Evil (ignorance) is like a shadow– it has no real substance of its
own, it is simply a lack of light. You cannot cause a shadow to
disappear by trying to fight it, stamp on it, by railing against it, or
any other form of emotional or physical resistance. In order to cause a shadow to disappear, you must shine light on it”

“You create your opportunities by asking for them.”

“Whatever our individual troubles and challenges may be, it’s important to pause every now and then to appreciate all that we have, on every level. We need to literally ‘count our blessings,’ give thanks for them, allow ourselves to enjoy them, and relish the experience of prosperity we already have.”

“As you learn to be true to yourself, you will find that you attract people, work, and other circumstances that reflect your evolution and development.”

Musing on Positivity: Unconditional Flow

Instead of just posting an affirmation today, I began musing on the subject and how to use positivity in general. I wanted to share with you, that I always post affirmations and the kind in this blog remembering that there are different levels of distress, and also people who might be dealing with deep traumas and such, when deeper going tools are required.  In other words, I never mean to belittle anyone´s challenges, which is a negative use of positivity.

Acceptance of all of our feelings and emotions and negative thoughts is so important,  I´d like to put that sentence in every posting of mine. Emotions – although many of them are more or less unconscious projections etc (= about transferring past energies that are not really there to todays issues, and so on) – may also tell us where our healthy boundaries are, where we need to say “no” for example. And then, after having accepted the negative thoughts and emotions, the suggestion continues to bring in the positive ones alongside them.  It is not good to push positive thoughts on by force, like “smile though your heart is breaking and head is aching”.  Sometimes the first thing of any self healing and growth is to notice in what kind of energy we are reflecting on and couching ourselves in the first place. And from the deepest distress, the darkest cellar, we might need to come back enough for affirmations, and such, to work. Sometimes a hug,  even from ourselves,  is more relevant than any words.

So, if manifesting tools, for example,  don´t seem to be working  there might be layers beyond the surface to be healed. (Many books of manifesting stay on the surface level only, and sometimes as if there aren´t any other layers.  We are also individuals, so that what might work for the other one´s psyche, might not work for the other.) If not seeing the layers, we might for example just make another conditioning out of positivity, which says: “I can have positive things in my life only if I am positive, and if I´m negative I can´t have them”. Then it just continues the underlying  conditioning, that tells: “I´m only worthy, if… ” instead of:  “I´m am always worthy just as I am.” That is why I use the idea of unconditional flow, for the love of the universe is unconditional and love and acceptance heal.

So, the affirmations I share today are:

“I accept all my thoughts and feelings.”

“I am in unconditional flow.”

Dust Off Your Magic Wands

Bloom Lisa Coaching

Sometimes it is hard to put into practice that which we know to be true.

Your mind and your perception of the world around you creates your life. Your ability to see how powerful this truth is can and will open many doors for you.

Life Coaching 101 – The Magic Wand ExerciseVisualization

When this card showed up as inspiration for my post today I was reminded of a tool I use in life coaching sessions, the magic wand exercise. It is quite important to maintain a sense of fun when making those big life decisions and this exercise stimulates imagination and creativity by breaking down your “rules” for your life. This exercise is effective, impactful and of little expense other than a tea, a pen and a notebook.

For this exercise, take a nice notebook and pen of choice and find yourself a quiet and peaceful spot to sit where you can write…

NLP – A Brief Look At Anchoring Submodalities by Sajith T. M.

ID-100185066

This article written by Sajith T.M. is brought from EzineArticles.com

Anchoring is a process that connects or anchors memory or other factors to a stimulus. The anchor or stimulus becomes the trigger to the anchored reaction. The anchor may not have any logical relation to the reaction that it is causing and the reaction may be adverse or beneficial. However, by using anchors, you can stimulate certain reactions in order to change your overall attitude and behavior toward a certain condition

The stimuli of touch, sight, sound, smell and taste are used in NLP to induce a desired state. This state is an experience or memory that you wish to access in order to create a representation that can transform your outlook into a more positive one. When the stimulus is activated, it evokes a state of mind containing specific thoughts and emotions. For example, hearing an old song may bring you back to your childhood or seeing an old house may remind you of how things were in your old neighborhood.

In NLP, anchoring becomes an effective tool, since you can associate the triggers with the state you wish to achieve. You can establish an anchor by creating a stimulus while simultaneously evoking the state you wish to achieve. For example, when a special person asks you to remember her then gives you a locket, then the locket becomes the trigger and the memory of the person becomes the resourceful state. The two are then so closely associated that whenever you look at the anchor (the locket,) you become reminded of the resourceful state or person who gave it to you.

Anchors can be visual, auditory or kinesthetic. These three modalities will be your tools in creating an image that can easily retrieve information from your memory to facilitate a response. It is useful to establish anchors, especially during moments of significant experiences, to improve your subjective and critical view of your environment.

1. Visual. Visual anchors can be external or internal. An external anchor makes use of what is really there to see while an internal one makes use of your imagination. A necklace which you can carry around all the time is an example of an external anchor. A mental image of your old home would be an internal anchor. Visual anchors can be anything that you can see such as shapes, objects, places, and people. This is why objects can possess sentimental value.

2. Auditory. This anchor can also be internal or external. What you can actually hear is an external anchor while a voice that you remember can be used as an internal anchor. Whistling or singing can help soothe your nerves when you feel anxious or restless. You can recall the voice of your mother humming a lullaby or comforting you and associate it with happy moments in your life to help you relax.

3. Kinesthetic. An example of an internal anchor would be to imagine your father’s handshake whenever you did something great. You can link this to the feeling of achievement or success. Some examples of external anchors would be to feel the fur of your dog as you hug him or running your hand through your loved one’s hair. You can link these feelings of touch with happy moments and memories.
