Poem and Article: Shifting

Never believe,
my friend,
when you´re
down there,
how the
world looks
like then.

Your energy
opens up
and you see
clearly again.

Lightness
never
truly
goes
away.
It remains
there
for you
to reclaim.

As is
with
magic,
it continues
to hold
you near.

INFJ at the Holidays?

Here is Linda´s great take on INFJ personality type in the Myers Briggs system and of HSPs (Highly Sensitive People) in general. Additionally to Linda´s I share a couple of links I have taken my own tests from. I am an ENFP though since for several years I´ve been in a much more introverted phase than I used to (always having needed time alone, too). I know in theory and practice that the basic personality type doesn´t disappear though we often go through other kinds of personality phases in life as well. (I have used another personality type/structure model as my first tool, which I know much deeper than Myers Briggs´).

HAPPY SAG DAY! Today the sun entered Sagittarius and all is right in your world, right?

This was a pre-Christmas post, but I suspect it will be useful right about now. After I ran my Grief and Loss group today on the topic of coping with family and loss during the holidays and reflected on my current family drama, I realized that sometimes we need to recalibrate our boundaries and love ourselves more, not less.

Enjoy this re-tread and feel free to comment.

I was ready to dive into an astrology article including Taylor Swift, but she will have to shake it off just a little bit longer. I am sensing a need to write about how to navigate the holiday season with fun and a lot less drama. I have wanted to write about INFJs and HSPs ( Highly Sensitive People) for a while, and this seems to be the…

Article: Programming Your Subconscious Mind by Sen

3d_butterflies-wallpaper-1366x768

“Actually, subconscious mind is nothing but the “neural pathways” that have been established in your brain as result of your past beliefs and conditioning. During your unconscious existence, when you weren’t aware enough, you ended up imbibing a lot of limiting beliefs, negative conditioning and misguided perceptions about life, that you took to be “true” and hence believed in them enough to create strong neural pathways in your brain about them – causing these patterns of thought to become “subconscious”. Neural pathways are physical links, they are real and they are no different from a strong rope made from interweaving several layers of strings. Once you consciously see through a negativity, or a negative belief, within you, the neural pathway associated with that negativity will take time to come down, even when you are no longer supporting it consciously – it could well take a few months for a neural pathway, associated with a pattern of thought, to come down fully.” Read the whole article here at Calm Down Mind / Sen: http://www.calmdownmind.com/programming-your-subconscious-mind/

Chiron: Aquarian Themes – Staying Independent in the Collective Field

ChironMcAnndra

Inspired by Linda of the litebeing chronicles blog and her wonderful post Poetry – adventures in stillness and vast mysteries  I made my own random pick from the book Chiron and the Healing Journey: An Astrological and Psychological Perspective by Melanie Reinhart.  To those who are not so familiar with this idea: these kinds of random picks can be playfully used to receiving answers to questions as well.

From the chapter: Chiron in Aquarius and the Eleventh House

“With Chiron in Aquarius or the Eleventh House, we are vulnerable to the collective unconscious in the sphere of ideas and ideals. Although we have the potential to be  original and iconoclastic thinkers, we are also prone to taking on stereotyped attitudes. Rather than risk expressing our own opinions, we may adopt a party line of some kind, following the political or spiritual aspirations of a group to which we belong. We could become enslaved by the ideas of another person, not realizing that these hinder our own development; we may take on and subsequently reject many different systems of ideas on our quest. With this Chiron placement, we benefit by learning to use our own individual minds creatively, concretely, and with rational discrimination. If we can build a suitably Saturnian vehicle for the Uranian energy of our thoughts, we may find ourselves able to make an important contribution to others through our truly independent thinking. In this process, we will perhaps discover many useless “shoulds” and “oughts” which we are slavishly believing or obeying.”

“Until we have found a measure of inner freedom, we might fear commitment (and may have a horror of groups and the collective, for one thing, to be taken over by collective ideas). However, Chiron brings the possibility of individual freedom within commitment to life.”

I also recalled this quote and am thanking with it all those people who have dared, and dare, to be independent and often ahead of their time sometimes also needing to face much opposition:

We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.  – Albert Einstein

What is your random pick?

Thanks again for the idea, Linda!

Clearing Gratitude from Guilt

fields_of_joy-wallpaper-1366x768

I used to write lists of joy in the past having a major challenging phase in my life. I wrote them for not to get drown in those challenges, to keep on noticing all the good and wonderful still going on in my life. I also wrote them to clear guilt from gratitude. I did it by adding the words and the energies of joy and joyful in my lists of gratitude. I gave joyful thanks to the universe.

Nobody (in relative terms) in my past surroundings and in the society had wanted anything bad by gearing gratitude with guilt and obligation, which tell us that we don´t quite deserve what we receive and that it is somehow away from those less fortunate. We should be grateful, because…That kind of guilt was programmed due to understandable reasons by the even earlier generations in our culture. (Not that it was or is a concern of all the people, but one of those more collective programmings that some of us may adopt unconsciously. On a deeper level it relates to a bunch of patriarchal believes. The quilt and related was also a bigger issue to me, to a part of my personality, having more layers and connections).

So, I managed to clear gratitude from guilt and obligation and now-a-days joy is related to being thankful even without me adding the word “joy” or “joyful” to it.

What kind of feelings does gratitude evoke in you?

An Article: Are You in Creative Void?

space_vortex_2-wallpaper-1366x768

Although there is a concept of void in astronomy, there is no empty space in the universe, says science. Many of us are aware of the concept of “void” in spirituality. That void is not empty either, although it might feel being so. A void space is often and for instance experienced when the old is leaving and the new is not yet quite there. We can enter a void concerning one life area or issue or several ones at the same time. A void period can last  lets say from a few moments to several years (depending also on how we define a void). It can be a time to embrace uncertainty and confusion by our personality, and of letting go. It can also be a very creative time to tune inside and try out several probable futures and a great opportunity for inner growth and transformation, so the new will be even better, more wonderful and more satisfying than the old that is leaving, or has already left, us.

Here is an article about the void with some practical tips and insights:

Gentle Vibes – My Tarot Card for July

thoth4CupsIt is always a pleasure to me to pick The Four of Cups – Magnetite (Lodestone) because of its tender, gentle nature. It is about giving and receiving love and affection and kind gestures not only in romantic sense, but also relating to family, friends and acquaintances and even strangers. It is a compassionate, emotionally nurturing card and very magnetic to good. It is about ease and grace. On the other side of the coin, if not being aware of it, we (or others relating to us) may become overly protective, pampering, dependent or overly indulgent. We might do things we don´t really want to, because of the fear of rejection. It may also remind us to be open to receive and that we are deserving beings.

Cups are ruled by the element of Water. They reflect our inner emotional reality. Their realm includes love, feelings, interaction in relationships, and sexual energy (the Yin, or feminine aspect).

Keywords of Four of Cups, Luxury: Moon in Cancer, love, tenderness, care, emotional riches. Gerd Ziegler, Tarot – Mirror of the Soul

Magnetite – Lodestone

“Magnetite balances the intellect with inner emotions to bring about stability. This is an excellent stone for balancing polarities such as male-female; physical-spiritual; left brain-right brain, and many more. Magnetite aligns the chakras and connects the base and earth chakras to the nurturing energies of the earth. Additional properties include:

Aids telepathy, meditation, visualization
Strengthens trust in your own intuitions
The magnetic quality of magnetite attracts love, commitment and loyalty
Offers relief from negative emotions” – source: crystal-cure.com

The Sanskrit word for magnetite is chum-baka, meaning the “kisser”. T’su shi is what the Chinese call it and means the “loving stone”. These names are based on its ability to attract other metals. For this reason, it has often been used as a love charm.  –  Richard Webster,  Magical Symbols of Love & Romance

Affirmation:  I enjoy my relationships with gratitude and joy. I am in the flow of love. I am magnetic to good.

Thought for the Day: Trialitation

ID-100162686

“There are positive and negative energies within a field of duality. You are moving from the field of duality into a field of triality, where you will not have the polarity of good and bad, right and wrong, up and down, or love and fear. You will have more options to work with, and you are starting now to see from a much larger perspective. The way to think of it is very simple. Consider a line, polarity, with negative over here and positive over there. As triality comes in you will have a new connection to your higher self, or basically a third point from which you can see everything more clearly. If you were really on this line you could not distinguish where this ends or another begins, because you could only feel the line. Once the perception changes and you strongly connect to your higher self, you experience a different vision. That is now taking place with all of humanity, not only spiritual people. Everyone is learning to see from a new perspective outside of the limitations of duality, and we have labeled that trialitation.” –   © Steve Rother and the group / lightworker.com
