Poem: The Sunflower

What did
the sunflower
send,
like a
magnet it
pulled me close
and tenderly
held

joy bubbled
through the
shadow,
a turn
towards
the sun
naturally
happened

And did I
hear it
whistle
a tune
so bold
and
attentive,
exactly
the same
I had
heard

in my
dream

Poem and Symbolism: Peacock Magic

vibrating

tail in its

full glory,

a small

natural

step

and

it is there,

the joy

and wonder

of

mere

existence.

Poem: Fireworks

Behind
the fence
a neighbor´s
grandchild
is gasping
an enchanted
woooooooow
over and over
again
to each set
of fireworks
exploding
in the sky.

I chuckle
inside,
thanking
the child
for her
exquisite
reminder
of the magic
of awe
and
wonder.

The star child
in all of
us.

Poem: Golden Wind Bells

Sunny spring days
such as this one
are like the most
elegant
jazz,
like
mint
ice cream

Resting in
the lightness of
my heart
I can hear
microscopic
tiny
golden
wind bells
softly
tingling.
That is the
sound
of boundless
soul joy.

Symbol for April 2015: The Dolphin

From poweranimalsunleashed.com by Carrie Hart:

The Dolphin: Joy, Clarity, Synchronicity

The dolphin is so full of joy, he cannot help but leap into the air, just for the sheer pleasure of being alive.  Allow this vibrant life force to fill you, making you feel and know the privilege it is to be drawing one more breath in this precious life.  Let the dolphin teach you this deep abiding joy.

The dolphin is also a wonderful communicator.  He will teach you to listen to others and then to respond in a way which they will understand.  With the dolphin within you, words will flow more easily.  You will come into your own power as a communicator of both feelings and ideas, as his intelligence fills you with confidence in expressing yourself.

The dolphin is attuned to others, instinctively knowing just the right moment to leap into the air, so that the entire group moves in effortless harmony.  Let the dolphin teach you this intuitive synchronicity with others, moving at one with them and understanding what drives them and what moves them.”

Book Quote: Opening to Receive

“Your Higher Self loves you and wants to give you true happiness, deep inner joy, and all the love you can imagine. Acknowledge every time you receive something, knowing that you deserve to have it and you have allowed it to come. As you learn to allow small things into your life, you can learn to allow bigger things as well, such as your spiritual growth and a life filled with laughter, abundance, and love.

Poem: Chickadee, chickadee

Hello again
chickadee, chickadee,
my city bird
jumping for joy
on the windowsill
of my kitchen.
Did you come for
a coffee?
Wanna come in?

And another day
chickadee,
chickadee,
I come from the
shower
and you are flying
inside there.
I did invite you in,
didn´t I,
or is it
my veggie
burger
you prefer?

Chickadee,
chickadee:
“City girl,
city girl,
open the window,
open the window
and even from
the stony yard
joy flows in.”

– Deelia ©
