Poem: The Sunflower

Soul Fields

 

What did
the sunflower
send,
like a
magnet it
pulled me close
and tenderly
held

joy bubbled
through the
shadow,
a turn
towards
the sun
naturally
happened

And did I
hear it
whistle
a tune
so bold
and
attentive,
exactly
the same 
I had
heard
in my
dream
