Articles and Links: An Overview of Relationship Astrology

over-the-town-1918

The first excerpt and link is to a great article of Liz Greene, which makes a good overview of the subject to my mind. Although the article is about composite chart, it explains it in relation to synastry chart and birth chart. I also thought it might give something to those, too, who are not so familiar with astrology as might the other links as well.

The Composite Chart by Liz Greene at astro.com

One plus one equals three

The concept behind the composite chart – or, as Erin Sullivan sometimes calls it, the compost chart – is that it represents the relationship itself as a third factor. Two people create a third thing between them. The composite chart is like an energy field, which affects both people and draws certain things out of each individual as well as imposing its own dynamics on both.

The composite doesn’t seem to describe what either person feels about the other. In this way it is very different from synastry, which describes the chemistry between two people in terms of how they affect each other. When we are exploring the synastry in a relationship, we say, “Your Venus is on my Mars. You are activating my Mars and bringing a Mars response out of me, and I am activating your Venus and invoking a Venus response in you. Consequently we feel a certain way about each other.” When we are looking at a composite chart, we are not exploring what two people activate in each other or feel about each other. We are interpreting the energy field they generate between them. The composite chart is like a child, a third entity which carries the genetic imprints of both parents but combines these imprints in an entirely new way and exists independently of either of them.Read more here: http://www.astro.com/astrology/in_composit_e.htm

Chiron and A Shaman’s View of Sensitivity, ‘Mental Illness’, and Spirit-Gifts

Sophia's Children

Clytie, by Frederic, Lord Leighton (1830-1896) Clytie, by Frederic, Lord Leighton (1830-1896)

“So this is how the healers who are attempting to be born are treated in this culture.  What a loss!” ~ Malidoma Patrice Somé

Though important for all empath-sensitives — so read on —  this is a particularly important perspective now for those of us born in the mid-Sixties,who have the unique cocktail of Chiron in Pisces, Neptune in Scorpio, and the Uranus-Pluto-in-Virgo conjunction.

That’s a potentially super-sensitive, visionary, and ‘born-healer’ (or mystic, or shaman) combination.

We have recently or are now moving through the life-milestone and ‘wake-up call’ of the Chiron Return. Some Chiron in Pisces natives are in the pivotal years leading up to their Chiron in Pisces Return, when lots of patterns are revealed and cycles of experience integrated (and deepened).

This particular mid-Sixties-born group has been called ‘the Lost Generation’ by some — though it’s more…

Akashic Field and Consciousness

Known is a drop, Unknown is an Ocean

According to Ervin Laszlo, the coherence of the atom and the galaxies is the same coherence that keeps living cells together, cooperating to form life. When a complex system made up of many interacting parts is operating, sometimes an unexpected jump to a new level of complex organisation happens. Our human body is made up of many such levels, each formed by another jump in complexity. Our lowest level of the cell jumps up a level to body tissue, to body organ, to body system and to the whole body. We are therefore formed with many onion skin like levels that all cooperate in complex ways to make one whole human being. It is really amazing how it all fits together.

At the same time, in the human realm of consciousness, we are — as far as we know — the only creatures able to contemplate who we are, why we…

Poem: Tulips

Kuva0873 –

Receiving tulips
is like a kiss on my lips.
These I bought myself
and that is equally fine.

(Do you really think so,
asks the voice inside,
guess whose soul
they are truly from.)

Fresh and in bud form
they look a bit shy,
tomorrow with
some daylight they´ll
be in full bloom.

(Kiss him back, soul,
and tenderly caress him.
I am looking forward
to our next step.)

Playfully: Love Poems

I got this fun idea from Fiesta Estrella to write a 10 line poem on love with 4 words in each line and the word love in each line. If anyone wants to write a poem on love, please leave a link to your poem in the comment’s section.

Here are two poems accordingly from which I wasn´t able to decide.

Love, you love me,
if I love you
back or not, Love

feeling worthy of love
or not, you love
me and everyone, Love

Love, arms wide open,
I receive unconditional love,
endless and unshakable love.
I become Love myself.

***

Love of the Source
is where giving love
becomes receiving love, receiving
love becomes giving it.
Different nuances of love
being of One Love
there is no “love
ends” to Love´s love,
nor does Love begin,
because Love already is
