Poem: Tulips

Kuva0873 –

Receiving tulips
is like a kiss on my lips.
These I bought myself
and that is equally fine.

(Do you really think so,
asks the voice inside,
guess whose soul
they are truly from.)

Fresh and in bud form
they look a bit shy,
tomorrow with
some daylight they´ll
be in full bloom.

(Kiss him back, soul,
and tenderly caress him.
I am looking forward
to our next step.)

  1. Beautiful!
I received a tulip today (as a gift from a female colleague in celebration of women’s day, March 8) . The tulip has the very same color as on your picture. I never got any gift on women’s day before. It is not celebrated here. Except for today. I was reminded immediately of your poem. What a synchronicity!
